FATALITY: FALL THROUGH BUILDING ROOF
Man fatally injured on Bristol City centre construction project
The Bristol Post has reported the death of man on a construction site in Bristol. A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said in a statement on 15th March 2018 that:
“We were called at 8.35am today to Baldwin Street in Bristol, along with other emergency services, after a man was injured following a fall at a construction site.
A 22-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to Southmead Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His next of kin have been informed.”
A spokesperson for South West Ambulance Service told the Bristol Post:
“We were called today at 8.10am in relation to reports that a male had fallen through a roof on a construction site. We attended with a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and a helicopter.”
