HSE ENFORCEMENT WEEKLY UPDATE 13th DEC 2017

The latest records of enforcement notices issued and prosecutions taken by HSE Construction Division groups during the period 02/10/2017 – 08/10/2017 were added to the HSE register on 13th December 2017.

HSE has also published details of their Construction Sector Priorities for 2017 onward which outlines subjects etc. which are the current focus of attention for HSE Inspectors.

Prosecution cases concluded

The HSE Prosecution Register shows two (2) breaches involving two (2) defendants taken by HSE Construction Groups and added to the Register during this period.

Enforcement notices issued 

The HSE Notices Register shows 152 construction sector enforcement notices issued by HSE Construction Groups added to the Register.

This period included the weeks during which a construction refurbishment project HSE intensive inspection was being undertaken.

An increasing number of notices concern wider CDM2015 issues including:

The majority of notices issued concern work at height, welfare, good order, silica dust, and asbestos.
