Key clauses of CDM 2015 Regulations summarised
HSE has published the proposed CDM Regulations 2015 along with an HSE Legal Guide and Industry Guidance. The action taken to comply by duty holders should be based firstly on the Regulations themselves.
From 6th April 2015 decisions by HSE on the prosecution of material breaches of the law or the issue of HSE Fee for Intervention Invoices will be based upon the clauses in Regulations rather than the HSE or Industry Guidance.
We have therefore prepared a Summary of the CDM Regulations 2015 Key Clauses to assist a duty holders in understanding the Regulatory requirements which will come into force in April 2015 with far-reaching implications for all involved in construction projects.
The new role of Principal Designer is one of the key changes with implications for how the Client and Designers work to achieve safety through design during the project Pre-Construction Phase.
