    INCIDENT: WORKMAN FALLS ON MAJOR HOMES SITE

    Air ambulance transports workman to hospital after 6m fall

    It has been reported (3 April) by the West Sussex Times that a workman has been taken to hospital after falling at a building site in Broadbridge Heath, Sussex.

    The emergency services including Sussex Air Ambulance were called to the Bovis Homes project site off Old Wickhurst Lane shortly before 9am.

    A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said the man, believed to be in his 30s, had suffered a head injury after falling approximately 6m.

    He was treated at the scene and taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
