HSE KEY ACTIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS LEADERS

New HSE online management guidance establishes ‘refreshed’ baseline

HSE has launched new online guidance to help “make it easier for larger organisations and businesses to understand how to manage health and safety”.

The online Managing for health and safety webpages replace the publication Successful health and safety management (known to many as HSG65) and are designed to “refresh and enhancing the existing content”.

HSE intend to publish a hard copy/free pdf version of HSG65 later in 2013. Meanwhile, the online guidance identifies key actions for leaders and managers.

However, navigation of the web pages can be slow and time consuming. For speed and simplicity we have therefore set out the Key Actions for Leaders in a 3-page document providing a convenient reminder and checklist for business leaders.
