Young man fell 45m to his death after climbing tower crane on Sydney site 

The Manly Daily has reported the death of a man who fell from a tower crane on a construction site in College Green, Sydney Australia. The dead man had finished university last year and was working with a wharf-building company.

Police investigating the death of Mr Fen Joyce said he was believed to have entered the construction site with two friends at about 12.30am and climbed the mast of the crane. It is understood he climbed on to the counterweight and then to the main arm of the jib from where he fell 45m to his death.

It is believed the three had been at a Australia Day party before the incident.
