HSE PROMOTE USE OF ONLINE RPE SELECTOR TOOL

Respiratory protective equipment (RPE) ’selector’ now available online

RPE is used on many construction projects to control exposure to hazardous substances. 

HSE has now announced availablility of an RPE Selector Tool that has been developed jointly by HSE, NHS Scotland and Scottish Healthy Working Lives.

Comment

A practical and HSE endorsed online tool to assist in selecting RPE is a good idea. However, some may be put off by the level of company detail required before the tool can be used.
