Roofing contractor employee fell whilst working on industrial roof
The South Wales Argus has reported that roofworker Lance Davies has fallen to his death from the roof of a factory in Crumlin, South Wales.
The death of Mr Davies occurred on Thursday 15th December while work was taking place at the premises of Senior Flexonics, on the Penyfan Industrial Estate. Our further enquiries suggest he suffered fatal injuries after falling through a fragile rooflight
Mr Davies, a local man and father of six was pronounced dead at the scene. Gwent Police and HSE are now conducting a joint investigation.
Senior Flexonics is part of international manufacturing company Senior Plc, which makes products for the aerospace and industrial markets. Chief executive of Senior Plc Mark Rollins said:
