Pictures and video capture scaffolder suspended in safety harness
A workman has been rescued after falling from a suspended scaffold in New York and being saved from serious injury by fall arrest equipment.
The man is captured on video hanging in his safety harness eight stories above the ground on Monday 12th December 2011. The rescue by firefighters is also shown as he is brought down by a mobile access platform.
He was suspended for 30 minutes but escaped from the incident without injury. He is also seen using a rope from above, seemingly to relieve the pressure caused by his suspension in the harness.
