Work at height specialist announces appointment of former HSE expert
The heightec Group Ltd (heightec) has announced the appointment of David Thomas as a Director with particular responsibility for continuing heightec’s development of training services, delivery of best practice and the application of heightec systems. He will also represent the company on relevant committees and industry bodies.
David was, until 2007, a Principal Specialist Inspector at HSE with special responsibilities for technical policy making relating to work at height. He has extensive experience of the development of best practice and authorship of technical documentation.

heighttec specialise in the design and production of technical fall protection and provision of complementary training and support services. The product range includes equipment for fall arrest and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as harnesses, descenders, lanyards, ascenders, quadpods and stretchers.
The company will be exhibiting at the RenewableUK 2011 Conference and Exhibition (25 to 27 October 2012) in Manchester.
