FATALITY: OVERTURNING DUMPER TRUCK

Workman dies after dumper truck overturns on small domestic project

It has been reported by Surrey Today that a father of six has been died after being ”crushed” by a site dumper on a small building project in Reigate.

Kenneth Pinkerton was working in rear garden the vehicle overturned. Emergency services were called to the site and Mr Pinkerton was taken to hospital by ambulance. Despite efforts to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead during the journey.

A police spokesman said:

“HSE was notified of the incident. This appears to be a tragic accident and Surrey Police is not treating the death as suspicious. No one else was injured.”
