Workman rescued from US tower crane after injury during maintenance
Fire and and rescue crews in Washington DC have rescued a tower crane maintenance engineer from the jib of the crane at some 35m above the ground. The entire event was captured on video.
The man was injured and suspended from the crane with head and back injuries. The rescuers used ropes and rigging to get him down from the crane and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
