AIF provide comprehensive video account of work at height debates
The Access Industry Forum (AIF) was a major contributor at the Expo 2011 event. All the presentations and debates are now available free via online video. The content of the videos are produced by the leading safety trade bodies and organisations in the UK.
The AIF is a forum for all the principal trade associations and federations involved in this specialist sector, It attracted an impressive line up of speakers for a thought provoking and informative ‘Knowledge Base’.
- Jason Anker – a motivational and behavioural safety speaker paralysed from the waist down following an avoidable accident while working at height on a building site. He has been described as a powerful and persuasive speaker whose story and message can mesmerise an audience.
- Forum discussion and debate on ‘How to achieve the Holy Grail – no more working at height accidents, ever!’
- Panel discussion ‘Design v Cost v Safety’ featuring representatives from the Forum, the Association for Project Safety (APS), the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and
- ‘Maintaining effective work at height policies in a touch economic climate’ with the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the UK Contractors Group (UKCG).
