Workman aged 67 died has fallen from scaffolding on domestic project
A building worker who died after falling from scaffolding at a house in Dundee has been named as George Carr.
He fell from the scaffolding surrounding the house on 16th June. Despite the efforts of paramedics he died at the scene.
Mr Carr is understood to have been working with a colleague on the house the time of his fall. Tayside Police have confirmed there are “no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Carr’s death”.
Tayside Police and the ambulance service attended and HSE has been informed of the incident.
Police officers remained at the scene of the fall, which is near Sommerville Place’s junction with Upper Constitution Street, for several hours after the incident.
