Man arrested in connection with fatal incident on small housing site 

A workman has died on a small housing project in Whitstable, Kent.

It is understood that he died when an excavation collapsed on the site Bridgefield Road where two houses are being constructed. 

A joint investigation by HSE and Kent Police in underway. The BBC has reported that Police have ”arrested a man on suspicion of corporate manslaughter”.

Kent Air Ambulance service stare the workman suffered a cardiac arrest.
