HSE publish each month the in-year details of all deaths at work under their jurisdiction including those occurring on construction projects.
This information is ‘as reported’ by third parties and does not purport to be a formal statistical release.
The HSE reports and press coverage suggest 7 deaths occurred during work on construction projects in October 2010. These were:
16/10/2010 Martin Walton – electrocution
- 18/10/2010 Andrew Lancaster – trapped in a collapsing trench
