Construction worker ‘critical’ in second serious dumper incident in two weeks
The Plymouth Herald has reported that a workman is ”fighting for his life” after after being struck by a dumper truck.
It incident is said to have occurred on a project for developer Mount Wise (Guernsey) Ltd at the £120 million re-development of a former Royal Navy base.
The 28-acre site is being developed to create 469 homes, a hotel, shops, offices, restaurants and a data storage centre.
A joint Police / HSE investigation is now in progress.
