HSE LAUNCH OLYMPICS LEARNING LEGACY WEBSITE

London 2012 construction projects found to be ’managed very well’

The new London 2012 section of the HSE web site looks at “how and why this project has proceeded so well to date”.

You can view the HSE London 2012 Intervention Strategy for the construction which set out how HSE worked with the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) to “ensure that key risks were identified and tackled before work began”.

The ODA Health, Safety and Environment Standard is highlighted by HSE as ”a model of its kind – clear health and safety goals and targets, and a clear and open commitment to exemplary standards in the work that they do”.

The website also contains examples of this good practice in the form of short Case Studies from the various London 2012 sites.
