Road worker fatally injured in collision with excavator at Lancs site

Edward Fitzgerald has died whilst working on the hard shoulder of the M6 northbound carriageway at Garstang.

The incident occurred on 16 June 2010 and Mr Fitzgerald died following serious injury after being struck by an excavator used on site.

The coroner and HSE are involved. See Press Report.
