Workman reported to have suffered neck and spinal injuries

A man in his 40′s has fallen from scaffolding behind the young offenders institution at Grove Road, Portland.

The Portland Coastguard assisted the South West Ambulance Service in the recovering the man after he “fell into a tunnel which feeds an underground dry reservoir”.

He is suspected of having neck and spinal injuries. Report
