World War II bomb kills three on German construction site

Three experts working to defuse a bomb from World War II were killed on 1 June 2010 when the device exploded Six other people where injured in the central German town of Goettingen.

We are not aware of any recent serious incidents involving unexploded ordinance on UK construction projects.
