Manslaughter charges anticipated after alleged evidence of poor repair
The owner of a crane which collapsed in New York in 2008 is expected to face charges of manslaughter.
The incident led to the death of two workmen. Investigation by Manhattan District Attorney is said to have revealed evidence the crane was not properly repaired after being struck by lightning. See full report.
