Prosecution cases added to register

There were 7 records relating 3 construction sector prosecutions added to the HSE Register during week ending 13/11/2009. The cases are summarised below with fine in brackets: 

  • Removal of asbestos without licence. CDM Principal Contactor and Contractors prosecuted, (£12.5k, £2.5k and £500.)
  • Removal asbestos without license. CDM Client and Contractor prosecuted (£40k and £25k)
  • Fall through fragile roof. CDM Principal Contractor and Contractor prosecuted (£6k and £3k)
Enforcement notices added to register

There were 27 construction sector enforcement notices added to the HSE Register during week ending 13/11/2009.
