Monthly reports of construction sector fatal injuries August 2009

HSE publish ‘as reported’ fatal injury information each month. This is as reported by third parties and does not purport to be a formal statistical release. Subsequent HSE investigation may determine that some are not reportable under RIDDOR. 

The reports for August 2009 have now been added to the database including the following deaths are construction related. Links are provided below where the fatality has been covered in ours news.

1. 10/08 St Leonards – fall from scaffolding
2. 10/07 London – carbon monoxide
3. 12/08 Redditch – struck by excavator bucket
4. 21/08 Aberdeenshire – fall from height
