Provider offers online training for crane and MEWP operators

The US-based training provider GGS Publications has launched OperatorNetwork.com an online package of training for crane operators, mobile elevating platform operators and others.

The programs are available online or in a CD based format and said to incorporate best safe practices and standards from around the world. The mobile crane training course contains 25 modules ranging from set-up, ground conditions, lifting plans, inspections and crane dynamics.

GGS claim that their subject matter experts are well versed in regulations as they vary from country to country. A spokesperson said: “What we have found is that the standards between Australia, UK, Canada and the US are very similar. These countries are the most progressive in creating and enforcing regulations.”
