Survivors describe how barge and crane crashed into sea
An inquest at Haverfordwest has heard from survivors of barge that collapse into the sea at Milford Haven in 2007. A barge master was trapped and drowned in the vessel.
Witnesses told the inquest of earlier problems with the platform due to the size of the barge relative to the size of the crane.
The inquest heard that there was a serious problem with one leg of the platform and that the platform collapsed into the sea before action could be taken. The inquest is continuing.
