Electrocution of grab arm vehicle driver was accidental death
An inquest jury has heard how a the driver of a vehicle unloading construction waste died when the grab arm struck at 11kv overhead cable near Evesham, Worcestershire.
The jury heard that Johnny Davies, aged 46, died as a result of “brain damage caused by a lack of oxygen, when his heart stopped during the incident”
His son was with Mr Davies at the time of the accident and present at Stourport Coroners Court as Coroner Geraint Williams delivered the verdict of accidental death.
