MOBILES OVERTURN DURING RECOVERY

Further incident during Delhi bridge collapse recovery operations

ITN News has shown footage of the moment three mobile cranes overturned during work to restore order following the New Delhi bridge collapse which killed six people.

On-lookers ran for safety as the lifting operation went badly wrong. Officials report that nobody was injured. The local Police Commissioner said four cranes were lifting a steel beam when “one of them malfunctioned”.
