Father dies after falling from roof during house conversion
A man has died following serious head injuries incurred when he fell from a roof. Austin Kelso, aged 77 of Cumbria was assisting with renovations at a farm where his son was converting a bungalow into a house.
It is reported that he ”stepped on a slate with a knot in it” and fell 3m through the roof to a concrete floor below. We understand HSE are investigating the death.
