Workman taken to hospital after 6m fall from apartment block
A construction worker has been taken to Kettering General Hospital (26/01/2008) after falling from height whilst working on an apartment complex under constructed in St Mary’s Rd Kettering. Firefighters rescued that man in a 30 minute operation. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
HSE are investigating the incident on the Hallam Contracts £50m project. Director Chris Hallam said: “Hallam Contracts and our subcontractors are co-operating fully with the Health and Safety Executive investigation. Until the investigation is completed we do not feel we are in a position to comment further.”
