HSE ENFORCEMENT WEEKLY UPDATE

Prosecution Cases added to Register

Ten (10) records relating to three (3) construction sector prosecutions were added to the HSE Register on 10/12/2008. The cases involved, with fines in brackets:

  • removal of asbestos without proper precautions (£18k and director disqualified)
  • cable drum rolled trapping and injuring employee (£2.5k)
  • children gaining access to site and poor traffic management (£6k)
Enforcement Notices added to Register 

Forty-four (44) construction sector enforcement notices were added to the HSE Register on 10/12/2008.
