Assistance by Telephone and Email

This enables you to raise and discuss issues by telephone or email. The best decision may not clear-cut or you may have doubts about what the law requires. We become part of your arrangements under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

You can be assured of a timely and sensible response at all times. In extreme cases, HSE may be involved and an enforcement notice served. We can advise how to handle the situation, secure compliance, minimise damage and maximise benefits to your business.

The service is designed around your specific needs and budget for an agreed monthly fee. Existing clients include contractors, designers, CDM clients and co-ordinators.

Bespoke Consultancy, Investigation and Training

We can help you secure cost effective health and safety management and protection from the personal, financial and reputational risks that may arise from your health and safety responsibilities. These services include:

  • Management System – formal reviews of your strategy and management system with an independent check that it is fit for purpose;
  • CDM Compliance – examination of your CDM 2007 arrangements to help you avoid either not doing enough or doing too much to comply;
  • Competence – help in assessing CDM competence of those you engage including designers, co-ordinators, contractors and safety specialists;
  • Accreditation – support in securing success when you are yourself involved in accreditation processes;
  • Investigation – full incident investigation or opinion to help identify underlying causes and test the validity of your own conclusions and assessments;
  • Training – programmes designed around your needs to cover all aspects of construction health and safety management and CDM 2007; and
  • Corporate Manslaughter- identification of any gaps in current practice so as to reduce the chance of your organisation becoming involved in corporate manslaughter investigations and prosecutions.
