CDM Regulations 2015

The law governing construction project health and safety changed on 6th April 2015 when the CDM Regulations 2015 came into force placing new responsibilities on all clients, designers and contractors.

The regulations apply in full to ‘domestic’ projects although the duties which might otherwise fall to the ‘domestic’ client become the responsibility of the project builder and architect or other designer.

The project architect or other designer must be appointed in writing by the client as project the Principal Designer with responsibilities for planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health and safety during the project pre-construction phase.

We have developed a 2-3 hour CDM 2015 CPD Event for Designers and Principle Designers which is tailored to your needs and delivered at your offices at a time to suit you.

PP Construction Safety is also ready to support Clients, Contractors and Principal Contractors in meeting their wider CDM 2015 and other statutory duties.
